Your Local Solar Consultant

Solar is a big decision. Let’s make sure it actually makes sense for your home.

I’m Conner Leeb, Senior Energy Consultant with Current Home. I’ve spent the last 8 years helping Southern California homeowners understand solar, batteries, utility rates and their options — without making the process more complicated than it needs to be.

Over the years, I’ve personally helped approximately 1,000 homeowners go solar.

Why work with Conner

Your solar company matters. So does the person designing your system.

Solar isn’t simply buying panels. System design, how your household actually uses electricity, battery sizing, the program you select and roof condition can all materially change whether a project makes sense. That’s advisory work, not order taking.

A quick hello — who I am and how I work with homeowners.

“My goal isn’t just to get you installed. It’s to make you happy enough that years from now, I’m still the person you call — and the person you feel comfortable referring to your friends and family.”

Had a very great experience with Conner getting my solar panels installed, and up and saving me money quickly! Conner was very thorough through the process, and explained to me the timeline of the project. Best thing about all of this was he was able to beat all the competitors prices even Tesla! To hook me up with solar panels that has completely eliminated my Edison bill. Thanks Conner!

John W. with Conner Leeb
Very satisfied customer! Conner came over and explained everything I wanted to know about solar and the advantages. Conner was very knowledgeable, nice and professional. He got me the quote and we shook hands and agreed solar was for me. Everything was smooth sailing from there. I had updates regarding the permits, install dates and anything else I needed. Top class company and I feel very fortunate they were in the neighborhood when I was contemplating solar. Highly recommended.

Solar questions

8 questions you should have answered before going solar

You shouldn’t have to become a solar expert just to know whether it’s worth exploring. Here are eight questions I think every homeowner should understand.

It can, but not for every home. Savings depend on your electricity usage, your utility rate, roof conditions, system design, battery strategy and the program you choose. That's why I review your actual utility usage before recommending anything.

See If Solar Makes Sense for My Home

Honest answers

What’s holding you back?

If something about solar still doesn’t sit right, that’s normal. Pick what’s on your mind.

What to expect

What happens during the consultation?

No generic sales pitch. We look at your actual home and electricity usage.

  1. 1Understand Your Energy UsageWe'll review your utility bill or online utility account to understand how much electricity your home actually uses.
  2. 2Design the SystemWe'll look at the property and design a solar and, where appropriate, battery system around the home's needs.
  3. 3Compare Your OptionsWe'll review the available program structures, equipment, warranties and financing/energy options that may fit your goals.
  4. 4Compare It With the UtilityYou'll see the proposed solar option alongside what continuing to purchase electricity from Edison or SDG&E could look like.

If solar makes sense and you’re comfortable moving forward, we can handle the paperwork together. If it doesn’t make sense, you’ll know that too.

Appointment length
Plan for approximately 45–60 minutes.

Straight talk

You should be skeptical of solar.

Homeowners across California were promised one thing and experienced another — unexpected utility bills, or an installer they couldn’t reach after the sale. That’s exactly why choosing both the company and the consultant matters.

“I want to be the person you call about your solar system years from now — not someone who disappears after the paperwork is signed.”

Conner Leeb

How I try to do it differently

  • Understand the utility usage first
  • Design the system correctly
  • Explain what the utility bill can and cannot become
  • Understand the contract and program
  • Know who is installing the system
  • Know who you call afterward
